My name is Azadeh Chegini, and I am excited to introduce myself and share a little about my journey and passion for animal welfare.
For many years, I had the privilege of working with ZOETIS Petcare, where I enjoyed a long and fulfilling career. However, it was during this time that I realized there was more I could do to make a difference. In 2016, I embarked on a personal project called “Dogs of Otavalo” which aimed to help animals in need in Otavalo, Ecuador.
The turning point for me was when I asked myself, “Isn’t there anything I can do to assist these animals?” That question spurred me into action, and I know that no matter the challenge, there had to be a way. I soon discovered that by joining forces with like-minded individuals and constantly seeking opportunities to be of service, anything is possible.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact we can have when we come together to support a cause we deeply care about. Working with passionate people and leveraging available resources, we have been able to make a positive difference in the lives of many animals.
I firmly believe that by joining forces, we can create a collective impact that goes beyond what any one person can achieve alone. Whether through volunteering, fundraising, or spreading awareness, there are numerous ways we can contribute to this noble cause.
I am the happiest when holding an animal and when I am around others who respect and protect the voiceless.
