-Every sponsorship will include a photo a cat or dog that were able to support with your help. Photos can contain a customized message – so please consider sponsoring an animal for a friend, a family member, a significant other, or anyone in your life.

-Every sponsorship of $25 or more will receive a thank you card in the mail after we return home.

-$50 FULLY sponsors a cot or dog through examination, vaccination, spay/neuter, flea prevention*, and basic treatments (*while supplies last). Your fully sponsored animal will send you an ink paw print in additional to the Thank You Card <3

-Countless animals present with wounds, intestinal parasites, external parasites, and more – we fully treat them to the best of our abilities, so every little bit really helps!

The mission of “Dogs of Otavalo” is to improve the lives of the people and pets in the Otavalo, Ecuador area by providing quality veterinary care, training and education. Over the years, The Dogs of Otavalo team has helped over 1000 dogs and cats! Every year we go back to help hundreds more.

We partner with local veterinarian Marcela Pineda and her veterinary clinic, Sante Clinica Medico Veterinaria – who graciously allow us to take over their entire clinic during our visit. A portion of our team will spend time in outlying communities doing health checks, deworming and providing vaccination for the pets of these rural areas. Every year we hope to meet and exceed a goal of 300 pets cared for by our team in just 3 short days.

To treat these animals in Otavalo, our organization hopes to raise $15,000 to cover necessary surgical procedures, medical supplies & equipment, and preventive care. Our project also provides lodging and meals for our team of volunteers.
